These ruins at Ollantaytambo are very impressive and when you see ruins with very tight walls of stone, it is a sign that you are in a sacred place. The ruins are always placed on the top of mountains so you have to admire the builders of these places. This was the last stop of a full day tour from Cusco to Pizaq and Urubamba. The watercourse was also a legacy from the Incas, which runs beside the road in Ollantaytambo in the town itself.
